CATALPA Lecture Series

Insights into science from international colleagues and opportunities for exchange – that is the goal of the CATALPA Lecture Series. The lectures are open to researchers at FernUniversität and anyone else who is interested.

On July 15, 2026, starting at 2 p.m., Prof. Yizhou Fan will give a lecture. The researcher from Peking University is a long-time collaborator of Lyn Lim, head of the CATALPA junior research group ATLaS (Adaptive Teaching, Learning, and Support).

On September 23, 2026, starting at 2 p.m., Prof. Dr. Tobias Ley will be part of our lecture series. He is a university professor for continuing education processes in digitally supported teaching and learning spaces and director of the Center for Digitalization in Lifelong Learning.
